The unique chess set has been made in Rosewood / White Maple and the Chess Pieces are hand carved in French Staunton design. Every square of chess board has hole where the peg of the Chess Piece fits. An extra space on opposite sides has been provided where the pieces can be stored and due to the compactness and light in weight it can easily be put into coat's pocket. All the sides and corners are having rounded edges which is the special feature of the box

The Chess pieces are hand carved in Staunton Design in the combination of Rosewood/Boxwood and special lacquer coating has been applied on all the chess pieces which are stored inside the box.

If you are in the middle of a game and have to quit you can close the case and your pieces will stay intact. The box opens to display a beautifully crafted chess board and chess men. The men have pegs on the bottom to ensure their placement when traveling on the bumpiest roads.
