This magnetic travel set offers both chess and backgammon, with a folding chess board on top, and the backgammon inside a folding box. A beautiful travel chess and backgammon set because it is very portable due to its folding style.
It comes with a maroon velvet cover to protect the wood during travel. Both the chess and backgammon pieces have powerful magnets to keep them in place while playing.
The chess board is made of golden rosewood/maple and the pieces are in a combination of golden rosewood/boxwood. The Backgammon board has a white maple floor inlaid with golden rosewood.
15 Golden Rosewood and 15 boxwood checkers are fitted with strong magnets which never let them fall if the board is held upside down. Separate space has been provided to store the checkers on both sides of the backgammon board. The chess pieces are also fitted with super strong magnets with green velvet pads at their bottom. A green soft velvet bag is also provided for chess pieces in order to avoid rattling.
The travel magnetic chess set comes with 4 matching wood dice and 1 doubling cube.
